It's that time of year again. At three ten this afternoon I will board the train to That London, wiser from last year's experience. I've packed reasonably light. My shoes are already worn in (I spent £15 on blister remedy/prevention last time). I'm not half as nervous about catching big trains to big cities and my belief that London is full of ungrateful bastards has been partially quelled.

I'm looking forward to hooking up with the folks I met at last year's event as well as people I've met off of the interwebs in the time since. I'm also sure that I'll meet plenty of new people, as that's just the way with these things. Meeting people is fun!

So if you're going to @media2006, come and say hi. I'm easy to recognise. I'll be the one with "Pete Lambert" written on my name badge. Also, if anybody else is staying at the Regents Park Holiday Inn Express, miles and miles away from Westminster, let me know, either by email (pete at pixelicious dot co dot uk) or AIM (petejlambert).
