Have you missed me?

Wednesday December 14, 2005 - Permanent link to this post -

It's been brought to my attention by a few people over the past month or so that I've been neglecting this website. I haven't posted for a while and people (mostly family and family friends) are feeling left out.

Well, I'm sorry. The reason I've not written here for a while is purely that I haven't been able to think of anything to write. Me and Nicki have just been so tired and busy with work and Miles that I haven't really had time to think about it.

I have however, been taking lots of photos. I've bought me a new camera (a Fujifilm Finepix s5600) and I'm starting to take photography a little more seriousl as a hobby. I'm really enjoying it. If you want content updates from me, check my Flickr stream before you check here.

I am planning a redesign that will incorporate my Flickr photo stream somehow, as well as my del.icio.us bookmarks. It's been planned. Hopefully a new design will tempt me off my arse and back into writing. It usually does for a short while.

By way of an actual update of my life, for those who can't be bothered picking up the phone, here's some bullet points:

  • I've been doing quite a bit of freelance work recently. It's challenging, especially from a time point of view, but I'm enjoying it and hope to do more.
  • Miles has two teeth, can crawl quite well backwards and is just getting the hang of forwards. It looks like he might be standing up soon.
  • My brother, James is currently in Zambia working for the ILO. He's out there 'til March running SCREAM workshops. He's loving it. He's promised to take photos and post them to Flickr, but I've yet to see any.
  • I'm really, really tired
  • Nicki's more tired than me

Pete, where can I store more photos online? Or should I just wait til I get home like normal people used to do?

    Kiddo,

    That link doesn’t work.

    It should be http://flickr.com/photos/lambertjamesj

    But it’s not. It’s http://www.flickr.com/photos/71407082@N00/

Oh, and the reason you can’t upload anymore is because with a free account you only get quite a limited allowance for bandwidth. However, I’ve bought you a PRO account so you can keep on uploading.

    Good photos man.

aw look at you man. You’re a superstar. A web-guardian-angel.

    God bless us, everyone.
