Look Up! Game Four

Monday March 14, 2005 - Permanent link to this post -

Time for another quick-fire round of the ever-popular Look Up!

Rules are the same as always. Guess what popular site the cropped screenshot is from and you could win a prestigious Pixelicious Gold Membership (big smile and firm handshake if ever we were to meet... yada-yada-yada). So here's this week's Look Up! screenshot:

Guess the screenshot

I'm trying to make this as difficult as possible, since the last three games have been won almost instantly, but I just know that somebody's going to guess this one just as quickly. Good luck.

By the way, the double grey border is part of my design, not part of the screenshot.

Update: After an unprecedented three hours of Look Up!, the screenshot has been correctly identified by one Mr. Andrew Hume. A Gold Membership for you, sir.

In order to keep the fun going, I'll not put the answer here in the main post. If you want to know the answer, look in the comments. If you want to play on, then just don't peek.

found it. but i’ll say nothing.

Good one Hayo. Previous winners keeping their mouths shut for the sake of the competition. Very noble.

This is the longest running Look Up! game ever. I’m astounded.

    Is it Veer.com?

From the left hand side bar?

    Cool game.

It is Veer.com. Congratulations Mr. Hume. You’re a Pixelicious Gold Member.

    Tell your friends.

    Ace… I’m a winner at last!

I’ll display it on my mantelpiece with pride. Thanks Peter.

Not to nag, but it’s The Skinny, Veer’s weblog. So if you don’t know about that, it’s even hard to find while on Veer.com itself.

    :sigh
  8. On 14 March, 15:53, Rob Mientjes did say:

    :)

Oh, and to continue that, why are all the comments dated just seconds ago?
  9. On 14 March, 16:02, Peter J.Lambert did say:

    Because they are. Alright?

It’s because this conversation’s only been running for about 7 seconds and you’re just reading it really, really slowly or something.

Just because it’s nearly your birthday, doesn’t mean you can get all self-righteous and pedantic on us.
  10. On 14 March, 16:44, Hayo Bethlehem did say:
    This person's Gravatar
Cool. Your weblog has localised bullet-time. Is it in a different dimension where time moves slower, or does it have something to do with quantum?
  11. On 14 March, 17:19, Andrew Hume did say:
    This person's Gravatar
    Ever the pedant Rob.

    Just get over it…

    I WOOOONNNNN!
